For example, more and more companies are now including random loot boxes in their games. And while most players seem happy with the idea and apparently enjoy it, this doesn’t apply to everyone, and critics in particular are not very fond of where things are going recently.
Some reports from the studio got people’s hopes up that the sequel might be get announced soon, such as when it came out that Blizzard could be hiring new people to work on “Diablo 4”. But in the end, even if we do get some minor leaks about the game’s current production status, the ball will still be in Blizzard’s court to make the big reveal.
We don’t expect to see any news about “Diablo 4” during 2017, as it looks like the company will still be busy with their work on “Diablo 3” for some more time to come. 2018 might be a more eventful year for the studio’s fans, but it’s still too far away to make any adequate predictions.
And who knows, maybe we’re wrong and the big announcement is right around the corner. That’s of course quite the wishful thinking, but one never knows what Blizzard could be preparing behind their closed doors. The studio certainly enjoys to surprise their fans every now and then, and this would be a great way to get everyone’s spirits up and create some interesting discussions in the community for at least a few months.
