An update is coming for Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls and before that can happen, Blizzard has released some information about the update. Fans of the game are enjoying the brand new multiplayer online game and the majority of them have been playing the popular game since it was first released back in 1996. The action role-playing game is really one of the most popular hack and slash games of all time. As of 2012, Blizzard has sold more than 24 million copies all over the world.
Blizzard has revealed what features the update will bring along with it. Those that are playing Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls, will be happy to know that it will not matter if you are on the Windows PC, or the Mac from Apple, you are getting the update soon. The update is going to bring things like “Apprentice Mode”, which is a feature that you might have seen in the Ultimate Evil Edition of Diablo 3. The Ultimate Evil Edition includes the base game and comes with the Reaper of Souls expansion.
As of right now, the Ultimate Evil Edition is only available for those that play the game on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3 and Playstation 4. Since those that enjoy the game on the PC and the Mac will be getting updates that are already available to the console gamers, it is only fair that console gamers get a little something as well.
For the console gamers, it has been reported that they will get more exclusive features relating to social interaction and social gameplay. According to at least one online source, the console gamers will be getting a new social feature that allows players to enjoy earning rewards for your friends by picking up items. Another example would be that whenever you kill a unique monster, the last person that was killed by the monster will get a legendary item. Legendary items in the game are top of the line equipment and can make or break your character in the end game.
Another source claims that the update, which brings the game to 2.1.2, will bring a new class of items to the game. The new items will be called “Ancients”. The new items will be considered upgraded Legendary items and will also be considered a very rare drop if you get one. Those that are playing in the beta test realm might have already come across some of these awesome items.
