Diablo 3 Had a Bonus Weekend for All Players, Game Is Changing with Recent Updates!

But of course, talking about “Diablo 4” right now, is way too early – Blizzard are not only still working on the third game very actively, but the studio is also known for extremely long development periods, so even if they are planning the next game already, it will be a long time before we see it.

The studio is much more likely to try keeping “Diablo 3” alive for as long as possible while the game is still at the peak of its popularity, and they can do a lot to make that happen. As long as they keep introducing new content to the game, players will keep coming back to it.

On the other hand, new players will discover “Diablo 3” as well, especially when more major updates are released that result in the game being in the center of the headlines for a while.

As long as Blizzard don’t do anything drastic that messes up the balance of the game, it should be fine – and even though it currently has a lot more competition from titles like “Path of Exile”, “Diablo 3” still has a lot of potential and it will likely get developed even more over the next months/years. We’re as curious as the community to see what Blizzard might add to it later on.
