This particular Pokémon is a combination of different types of Pokémon. The evolution of Type Null into Silvally apparently makes it evident. The Pokémon can take on different types depending on the things involved, once it reaches its evolved form.
The other Pokémon that will transform is the Cutiefly, which evolves into the Rimbombee. Even Jangmo-o and Bounsweet evolve. Grimer and Muk also get Alolan variants. The trailer of Pokémon Sun and Moon also introduces two new Pokémon trainers, Ilima and Olivia.
With the exclusive demo, the players have discovered some of the best Alolan forms of Pokémon. According to Kotaku, Pokémon Sun and Moon introduces Dugtrio with blonde hair. The players initially thought that the image was fake and that the leaked video was photoshopped.
However, those who have seen the real footage of the demo have confirmed that the Dugtrio indeed have blonde hair!
The introduction of blonde hair on Dugtrio might seem random and inappropriate, but rumors suggest that since Sun and Moon is a tropical game, Nintendo might have given some monsters a surfer-like appearance and hence they have gone for such an appearance.
Pokémon Sun and Moon launches on 3DS in November. Nintendo hasn’t confirmed the release date yet.
