After getting turned down by Caitlyn Jenner, executive producers of “Dancing with the Stars” on ABC are now seriously considering bringing another Kaitlyn for the upcoming Season 21 of the celebrity dance show.
According to Yibada, the show is looking at bringing in Kaitlyn Bristowe to join the celebrity cast of “Dancing with the Stars” Season 21. Bristowe is the star of the dating reality show “The Bachelorette,” and given the show’s popularity and wide following, she would be a big plus to the upcoming season of the equally popular celebrity dance competition show.
Before joining “The Bachelorette,” Bristowe was also a dance instructor, which would work to her advantage if she agrees to join the show.
Chris Soules of the “The Bachelor” reality TV series, where “The Bachelorette” was spun off, also took part in one season of “Dancing with the Stars” and he became quite successful. The executive producers of the show believe that Kaitlyn Bristowe will also do well in the competition and will further raise her market value.
However, pundits warn Kaitlyn not to take the offer of “Dancing with the Stars” because it shall take so much of her time and that would mean bad things for her relationship when she finally decides who between Shawn Booth and Nick Viall she will pick in the upcoming series finale of “The Bachelorette.”
When Chris Soules agreed to do “Dancing with the Stars” after proposing to Whitney Bischoff, the engagement reportedly took a toll on their relationship. Chris had to spend so much time away from Whitney because he was always practicing with Witney Carson for their next routine. Eventually, there were rumors that Chris and Witney had an affair behind Whitney’s back, eventually leading to their breakup.
Can’t really dance
Meanwhile, NBA superstar Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans disclosed that he has also been offered to join “Dancing with the Stars” and follow the footsteps of other athletes that took part in the show.
But Davis, who is also featured as one of the three NBA superstars that shall be in the cover of the next basketball simulation video game “NBA 2K16,” turned down the offer of the producers of the dance show.
He said that he has seen a couple of players and athletes in “Dancing with the Stars,” but he just could not dance. Davis added that he just don’t want to embarrass himself even if he does something occasionally for fun, reports Lookit of SB Nation.
Fans of “Dancing with the Stars” and also of the NBA and Davis would really love to see the lanky center showcase his terpsichorean skills just for the fun of it. And they are hoping that Davis might change his mind in the future and finally agree to join as a celebrity contestant in the show.
Pushing for Caitlyn
Season 21 of the long-running celebrity dance competition “Dancing with the Stars” on ABC will return to the small screen on September 14.
With less than three months to go before its airing, fans are both excited and eager to know who will make up the complete roster of competitors for the upcoming season.
But the pro dancers of the popular dance competition TV show seriously want one controversial celebrity to join the show for its Season 21. And it’s no other than Caitlyn Jenner, who is currently the cover model of Vanity Fair. They have been pushing the producers to make Caitlyn Jenner finally agree to the offer as she will really be a welcome addition to the popular and top-rating show.
Should she agrees to join the dance competition, Caitlyn Jenner will be the third member of the Kardashian family to have taken part in the show after Kim Kardashian did it during the show’s Season 7 and Rob Kardashian on Season 13.
