Previous rumors about Caitlyn Jenner’s participation in the dance competition show “Dancing Wih the Stars” have been proven false as the transgender reality TV Star denied any negotiations with ABC on the matter.
According to reports, Jenner’s publicist announced that the answer to the question of whether Caitlyn would be interested in starring the show was a simple “No, thank you.” Reports suggest that there still exists the chance for Jenner to participate in the show, if she were to change her mind before the slots are filled. If indeed she changes her mind and decides to make a go for it, Caitlyn would be the first transgender to join the popular ABC dance show.
Rumors about Jenner’s participation in “Dancing With the Stars” began with a statement from Derek Hough, who has participated in the show before, as he claimed that he would return to Season 21 of the show as Jenner’s dance partner. As previous rumors about Jenner’s alleged participation in “Dancing With the Stars” spread, the Mirrorball trophy winner Hough declared that he would love to dance with her.

“Dancing with the Stars” has been on air since 2005. The show airs on ABC in the United States, and CTV/CTV Two in Canada. It basically deals with pairing a celebrity with a professional dancer, and the pairs show off their dancing skills during live performance.
The range of contestant celebrities goes from supermodels, Olympic athletes, and singers, to actors and astronauts. The pairs compete in order to earn judges’ points and audience votes. Each week a pair is eliminated by the criteria of lowest votes. As the show progresses, the contestants who remain enter the finale. It usually consists of three top or voted pairs, and the ones who win the most votes win the competition.
Since 2005, the show’s host has been Tom Bergeron, whille his co-hosts have changed over the course of time. Lisa Canning was the co-host of the show in Season 1, Seasons 2 to 9 were co-hosted by Samantha Harris. Season 10 received a new co-host in Brooke Burke-Charvet and she continued with the position until Season 17. Season 18 was co-hosted by Erin Andrews and she remained in that position until the present.
The pervert is afraid he won’t look feminine enough hoofing it with another man.
I believe the statement ” If indeed she changes her mind and decides to make a go for it, Caitlyn would be the first transgender to join the popular ABC dance show” is factually incorrect. Chaz Bono is transgender and participated in a prior season.
All you haters, leave Caitlyn alone….
Im all for transgender but this “caitlyn” going on all of tv is getting ridiculous. Its getting to be as ridiculous as kardashians
I thought Caitlyn Jenner is a guy with a pe**s. Am I missing something? If you change your name and dress in drag does that make you a woman? I don’t think so.
Addicted to fame and attention, the Caitlyn Chronicles are a mere extension of Keeping up with the Kardashians in the limelight of PC Hollywood along with Bread and Circus distractions.
Umm Caitlyn would not be the first transgender person o. The show. Chaz Bono was. She would however be the first transwoman. However I agree I think she’s going to become as ridiculous as the kardashians. Right now she’s likable but if she over does it people will get tired of her.
I’m with Larry Palmer!
Caitlin would not be the first Transgender person. Chaz Bono participated many seasons ago
