Dancing With the Stars has been on a long time and even though the twenty-second season is about to start, it seems that the show has not run out of people to cast. In a recent interview, Kirsty Alley said that it was possible that her “Cheers” co-star could be coming to the cast of the show this time around. Without making you wait to find out who it could be, it was rumored that person was Rhea Pearlman.
It was also noted in that same interview that Pealman is a very good dancer and that she would be a great addition to the show. The issue that is coming into play is the fact that Alley was not sure that Pearlman would be up for competing on Dancing With the Stars. There is a lot to be said for those that are good at dancing, but dancing in your underwear at home is very different from Dancing With the Stars.
There is a lot of work that goes into not getting eliminated the first week of the show and Alley noted that might be enough of a reason to keep Pearlman from returning that phone call. Alley was on Dancing With the Stars in season twelve and took second place. She later returned to Dancing With the Stars All Stars and placed seventh, when it aired during the fifteenth season of the show. Of course, Alley is no Bindi Irwin.
Bindi Irwin wowed the judges and the entire world with her performance last season and eventually became the youngest winner of the show at age 17. She was not the youngest to participate in the show, that title goes to Willow Shields, who was fourteen at the time of the taping. Leading up to the start of the twenty-second season, there is plenty of speculation as to who is going to be added to the cast. If Rhea Pearlman is not going to do it, then who else is on that list? According to a few reports found online, it could be Italia Ricci from “Chasing Life”.
That would also be a good addition to the show and it was even revealed that she was being convinced by stars that performed during the 21st season of Dancing With the Stars. During a few conversations on Twitter, it was noted that Ricci was not only being bothered by Alexa PenaVega, but also Carlos PenaVega and Shawn Sipos. She is getting plenty of encouragement, but she has yet to confirm anything regarding the newest season of the show. A couple of other options include the newest “Bachelor” and even someone from the New York Football Giants.
