Dance Moms Season 7 is set to premiere in a few days, but the interest in the popular dance drama is dwindling. The previous season saw some dramatic exists from series regulars, and it had put the whole show in jeopardy.
Reports suggest that Season 7 of Dance Moms is set to be more dramatic than Season 6. Dance Moms Season 6 saw the Junior Elite team fed up with Abby Miller’s ways and deciding to train on their own, without being a part of her Abby Lee Dance Company.
Abby Lee Miller was worried, but she isn’t one to express her worries and moved on to the Minis. She got the Minis to compete against the Junior Elite team. However, things didn’t end on the right note since the Junior Elite team goes ahead to win the dance-off.
Lifetime released a trailer for Dance Moms Season 7. It shows the Junior Elite team returning to the ALDC studio. However, this doesn’t mean that they have sorted all their problems. Abby Lee Miller remembers what they had to tell her and she doesn’t forgive easy!
According to International Business Times, Abby Lee Miller announces in the trailer that she plans on creating a super team. She wants to go back to the days of Maddie Zeigler when ALDC would win all their competitions.
This wasn’t where Abby Lee Miller drew the line. She dropped another bomb where she said that she might get rid of some of the old members of ALDC to make way for new ones.
She stated that none of the dancers were safe. Each and every one of them has to earn their place in the team. Abby Lee Miller made it clear that she will not hesitate to remove the dancers who are holding the team back from succeeding in competitions.
Dance Moms Season 7 will bring in Abby Lee Miller’s nemesis Cathy Nesbitt-Stein. She is back to rustle up the ALDC, and she taunts Miller saying that she was back. Nesbitt Stein’s Candy Apples were always a thorn in ALDC’s way, and it will be interesting to see how Abby Lee Miller deals with the situation with her team’s dwindling performance.
Cathy Nesbitt-Stein first appeared in Season 1 of Dance Moms. She had come in to enroll her daughter, Vivi-Anne into the ALDC. However, she soon left the studio and Cathy Nesbitt-Stein surprised Miller by opening her dance studio and went on to call it Candy Apple’s Dance Center.
Cathy Nesbitt’s studio initially housed only male dancers, but she has consistently been challenging the ALDC. The mothers who have been facing Abby Lee Miller’s temper and whims might love to watch Cathy come in to pose some challenge to Miller.
Game N Guide reported that the first episode of Dance Moms Season 7 would start off with a dance competition titled, Fight for Your Life. It would show eight dancers performing a Jazz number for the song Fight Camp. Alexus, Brynn, Areana, Elliana, Lilliana, Kendall, Nia and Kalani.
For their solo performances, the girls will portray strong women characters. Brynn will portray the character of Evita, who was the First Lady of Argentina and Kendall will play the role of Cleopatra, who was one of the most famous pharaohs of Ptolemaic Egypt.
The first episode will be high on drama since Abby Lee Miller will be furious with some of the girls. Nia, Brynn, Kendall, and Kalani will participate in the Mannequin Challenge, and they will shoot it in the ALDC studio. Abby Lee Miller gets angry when she realizes that the girls were in the studio without her permission.
