‘Dance Moms’ Season 7 Likely to Depend on the Decision of the Court in December Whether Abby Lee Miller Would Served Jail Time or Not

Episode 29 of Season 6 of the dance competition reality TV series “Dance Moms” aired on Lifetime on October 18 but talks about the seventh season of the popular show have been making the rounds on the internet over the last couple of months already.

If the show would remain true to its schedule, it is expected that Season 7 of “Dance Moms” would air early next year.

Filming for Season 7 has already started early this month but the fate of the show still hangs in the balance because of the court case involving dance leader Abby Lee Miller.

Apparently, the sentencing on Abby Lee Miller’s for multiple counts of fraud is scheduled in December which means that in the event that the court orders Abby to serve prison time, she can only do filming for Season 7 at that point.

The sentencing was supposed to happen on October 11 but her lawyers managed to push it back by 45 days so the court decision would be handed down instead this coming December.

However, with the way Abby Lee Miller is filming for Season 7 of “Dance Moms,” it seems that she is too confident that the court would not give her jail time for the multiple fraud charges she pleaded guilty to recently.

Or it is also possible that if the court sentenced her to jail time, she might ask for a reprieve and request that her jail time commences after she is through filming for Season 7 of “Dance Moms.”

Favors the minis over the elites

There have been reports saying that Abby Lee Miller is also favoring the members of the mini over the “Dance Moms” elite team, which had the mothers quarreling with each other as shown in episode 27 of Season 6.

In order to address the concerns, Abby assigned the elites and mini duets as partners. However, because of her continued favoritism of the minis, the elites were forced to choreograph their own group dance, details the iTech Post.

There are also reports going around saying that over the past seasons, Abby has been mistreating most of her dancers. But in recent episodes of Season 6, the dance leader has been playing the victim, claiming that the dancers were the ones who are mistreating her, not the other way around.

In Miller’s absence, there was some peace around the TV series when it was Gianna Martello, Miller’s assistant in choreographing, who practiced the junior elite dancers for their contemporary routine.

It has been very notable that there was no yelling, no stress, and no pressure, which everyone feels when Miller is around.

JoJo Siwa has been missing in action

In addition to the current legal entanglement of Abby Lee Miller, JoJo Siwa has been noted by fans to be missing in all competitions of “Dance Moms” Season 7, which is currently filming at this time.

Thus, there have been speculations saying that JoJo Siwa might follow the footsteps of Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler in leaving “Dance Moms” for good.

JoJo Siwa’s alarming absence in Fierce Dance Competition in Agoura Hills last week prompted fans to deduce that she won’t be appearing in “Dance Moms” Season 7. It also does not help that the episode 29 of Season 6 of “Dance Moms” is titled “JoJo is a No Show,” reinforcing notions that the young dancer might exit the show at the end of Season 6, details Game & Guide.

Meanwhile, Abby Lee Miller appears to have her way with the producers of “Dance Moms” on Lifetime.

Last month, Abby Lee Miller went ballistics on the producers of the show after they have let go the Mini Team. She insists that the Mini Team has been an integral feature of the show since the second season, aside from the fact that the team is also a viable source for the next new young dancers for “Dance Moms.”

Apparently, the producers have already made up their minds so there was no turning back on its decision to let go of the Mini Team and its members.

However, it seems that Abby still has some semblance of clout in the show which is why when filming for Season 7 of “Dance Moms” began early this month, it was highly noted that two members of the Mini Team came back to do the filming.
