Season 6 of the American dance competition reality show “Dance Moms” on the Lifetime network is set to premiere on January 5, 2016.
Filming for the widely-followed TV show has already started last month so when the Lifetime network recently released a 60-second trailer, fans got a glimpse of what they can expect when the show returns to the small screen less than three weeks from now.
The trailer showed Abby Lee Miller butting heads with the mothers of her young professional dancers.
But none can be more exciting than the dance leader’s huge argument with Melissa Gisoni, the mother of Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler.
Gisoni was seen in the trailer raising a howl against Abby Lee Miller when she said that the dance leader never trained returning cast member Brynn Rumfallo. The young dancer was also seen crying, but Gisoni went on with her tirade against Abby Lee Miller, details Design & Trend.
Not struggling with the scripts
The teaser also showed Abby saying that she is not struggling with the scripts of the show. She says that she disagrees with what the whole world thinks.
The more exciting parts of the teaser trailer are the appearances of the young dancers led by Maddie Ziegler who was seen performing pirouettes. It also showed Nia Frazer and JoJo Siwa performing two different routines on stage.
Mackenzie was also shown performing while wearing pajamas while Kendall Vertes was also seen making her dance moves on stage.
The trailer also showed the upstart young dancers who begin their campaign only in Season 6. There is also a scene showing Kalani Hilliker’s mom Kira Girard crying and was quoted as saying that she is not playing the game only to be cursed by Abby Lee Miller and shouting that she was lying.
The crucial moments of the trailer
Meanwhile, the International Business Times has scrutinized the so-called super trailer of “Dance Moms” Season 6 and it noted seven crucial moments that it thinks would not be immediately noticed by viewers.
The site said that Season 6 would most likely feature plenty of solo performances other than the usual pacesetters like Maddie Ziegler, Nia Frazier, and some others.
There will also be a new group comprised of younger dancers to join the ALDC dance studio because Abby said that her elite junior group members were already getting too old for her liking back in Season 5.
Brynn Rumfallo will also be returning to Season 6. She was already part of the group back in Season 5 but left only to return in the upcoming season.
As expected, there will be more tears as well as violent threats as nobody expects Abby Lee Miller to change her ways despite facing a fraud charges in the court.
There is also a possibility that Nia Frazier Sioux will leave the show finally because her mother Holly Frazier is already sick and tired of working with Abby and that there is another dance studio that has made an offer on Nia.
And there is the word war between Abby and Melissa and their argument that would most likely last all season long, with the worst-case scenario being Maddie and Mackenzie bolting ALDC before the end of Season 6.
All these things make for interesting plotlines which viewers would sure watch out for when “Dance Moms” returns on TV on January 5th.
When filming for Season 6 of “Dance Moms” started, dance leader Abby Lee Miller was also back to her old bullying ways not only on the girls and their mothers but also on the staff of the show.
Actually, it is not “her right” to not have anyone talk or speculate about her tax situation, as long as it is not slanderous and a judge hasn’t attached a gag order, which only applies to litigants and named witnesses, anyway.
