It did get positive responses from critics in general, but it’s also true that the show might benefit from a little more experimentation and more interesting developments on the scene. They already have solid talent all over the stage, so they just need to ramp up the production value a little more and they will end up very successful.
Of course, we have no idea what they’re planning for season 6 in general, so it might turn out that all of this is coming indeed, plus even more. Once season 6 rolls around and we see it in action, we’ll see if the wait was worth it.
What about the future – are the producers already thinking about continuing the show after season 6? That’s probably a bit too early to discuss, but we wouldn’t be surprised if there were already some vague talks about it in the background.
It probably depends on ratings more than anything else, as this is one of the productions that are pretty much entirely based on fan reception and strong responses from critics. If the new season fails to live up to expectations in this regard, then the show might very well end up getting pulled from the screen.
