In the most current episode of the season 6 of Dance Moms, Miller, the chief choreographer sunk to a new low, when she tried to sabotage the chances of winning of her own dance troupe in the competition.
As the dance moms were not at all impressed in the routine Float Like a Butterfly, Sting Like Ab-bee, by Abby Lee’s choreography. So instead of going with Miller’s moves, in the Muhammad Ali tribute competition, they decided to ask the guest choreographer to lead the junior team in performing their steps for a sneaker commercial.
The competition director informed the moms, in the event about the disqualification of the junior team, which were in accordance with Abby Lee Miller’s instructions. When the furious moms confronted Abby Lee, she plainly denied having to do anything with sabotaging her own team. However, she was caught in her lie as everything was on tape.
Abby Lee was charged by the federal government on October 2015 for apparently hiding more than $755,000 in incomes from the show Dance Moms. She was charged with covering-up of bankruptcy assets, false bankruptcy declarations and bankruptcy fraud. Miller is now facing up to $5 million in fines and five years’ imprisonment.
