‘Dance Moms’ Season 6 Episode 16 Showed Clash of Abby and Mackenzie Resulting to a Good Thing!

Abby initially broke the good news to both Kendall and Maddie that they will be performing a duet. While both girls were very happy of their upcoming duet, Melissa came in to say that Maddie would not be able to make it to the actual competition. As a result, the duet was scrapped and replaced by a solo from JoJo.

That had Kendall breaking down in disappointment. Her mother Jill was angered by the decision to give a solo number instead to JoJo and she eventually confronted Abby about it. Jill told Abby that it always never works out with her daughter Kendall because Abby always made sure of it.

That episode of “Dance Moms” also saw the competition paying tribute to Michael Jackson, the late King of Pop.

Sarah Hunt, “Dance Moms” veteran from Pittsburgh, returned for a duet with Brynn Rumfalo to the tune of “Human Nature,” which landed first in the junior duet-trio category and overall.

Nia Frasier-Sioux’s “Woman in the Mirror” solo performance copped the third spot in the teen division while JoJo’s solo number for “Billie Jean” did not get any place but was awarded an elite gold. The group dance placed third in the junior division but did not nab any award overall.
