‘Dance Moms’ Rumored to End After the Current Season 7 as Abby Lee Miller Expected to be Meted a Prison Sentence

Season 7 of the American dance competition reality show “Dance Moms” on Lifetime is into three episodes already but instead of what lies ahead in the next few episodes, the rumors are focused on what will happen at the end of the current season.

There are rumors going around lately saying that Season 7 of “Dance Moms” could be the last for the show as dance leader Abby Lee Miller is expected to be meted a prison sentence by a court for her fraud cases.

The court will be handing down its decision on Abby Lee Miller’s fraud cases in January and many are saying that she is likely to get some jail time.

Even Abby seems to have accepted her fate when she recently posted an emotional message on her Instagram, details the iTech Post.

Miller wrote on December 12 that she spent five years of her life and seven seasons on TV in 130 different countries. She said she did her best for Lifetime and gave her all to the production of “Dance Moms.”

She ended her post by thanking the network for the many wonderful opportunities and the valuable lessons she learned in the TV show.

Saying her goodbye

Abby’s post was actually a caption to a photo featuring the young dancers of “Dance Moms.”

Many of the fans and critics of the show believe that it was the dance leader’s way of saying goodbye to her TV show as she specifically mentioned seven seasons.

“Dance Moms” will have no problem airing all the way to its Season 7 finale because it was already pre-filmed months ago.

However, if and when Miller goes to jail, then it is likely that a Season 8 shall no longer be possible unless the dance leader works out a special parole arrangement with the court.

There were speculations saying that Miller could face a possible 30-month prison sentence, which is far shorter than the previous rumors saying she will serve a 10-year jail term.

The court was supposed to hand a sentence on her fraud cases on  December 2 but it was pushed to January 20.

On June 27, Abby entered a guilty plea on 20 counts of bankruptcy fraud that she was indicted with in October last year. She was also charged with another case of violating currency reporting laws.

Her decision to enter a guilty plea means that Abby is amenable already to face jail time while agreeing to pay fines.

Bringing ALDC back to its glory days

Despite the looming imprisonment sentence, reports are saying that Abby has made it her goal to bring her ALDC dance studio to its glory days by winning more titles and first place trophies in various competitions, reports Buddy TV.

In a recent post on Instagram, Abby announced that she achieved her mission and then some. Recently, Brynn Rumfalo, Kalani Hilliker, Kendall Vertes, Nia Frasier-Sioux, and newbie Camryn Bridges competed in Nationals as the ALDC’s Junior Elite competition team.

Abby posted a video of the awards ceremony on Instagram, and it looks as though the girls did win first prize for their group number.

Prior to the airing of Season 7 of “Dance Moms” on November 29, Abby Lee Miller was reported to be working to create a Super Team.

Apparently, Abby wanted to develop star dancers from her remaining roster of young dancers so that some of them can develop into the molds of Chloe Lukasiak, Maddie Ziegler, and Nia Frasier-Sioux.

The creation of the Super Team was actually hinted by Abby herself in one of the trailers for the seventh season of “Dance Moms” because she wanted to prove her prowess in collecting her best students to form one Super Team.
