“Dance Moms” has always had a certain personal side to it, even though the show is supposed to be mostly about the actual performance and dancing aspect. The very nature of the production makes it more viable for emotional moments though, and the producers have definitely been doing their best to make use of that potential and to put it to good use. We’ve seen various segments where different characters have shared this or that about their private lives, and recently we saw a talk by Cathy Nesbitt-Stein where she talked about her own daily life as it revolves around the show, and what her plans for the future are.
In addition, she talked about Vivi-Anne, her daughter, revealing what she’s been up to lately and what she’s planning to do next. Cathy herself seemed a bit under pressure from everything that’s been happening around her, and she is apparently running on a tight schedule lately, trying to keep up with her busy life. From her point of view, getting back on the show depends on certain factors mostly related to the schedule that the producers have in mind, but according to her, if the filming happens at the right place and the right time, she would definitely be interested in joining the rest of the crew.
She went on to say that this was actually the reason why her girls weren’t there during this season – it was all a matter of schedule differences and she wasn’t able to fit the show into her life very well, which is why she has decided to take a step back and just watch from the sidelines. She might still return in the future though, as the producers of the show have been keeping in touch with her and they are apparently still interested in having her on board.
Vivi-Anne has been moving on with her life very well too, according to Cathy, and she actually has something big coming up which her mother didn’t want to talk about. She did say that people who have been following Vivi-Anne’s progress and are interested in her work will find this project very interesting though, so we’re curious to see what might happen in that area of her life.
It’s definitely true that Vivi-Anne has a lot of potential and a great artistic personality, and if she’s put in the right environment she could easily realize that potential and put her skills to good use. From what we’re able to tell, her mother has a very strong desire to give her little girl everything she needs to have a shot at success too, so it would be interesting to see where her future takes her and what we’ll be hearing about her in the future.
The project is related to dancing, and that’s all we could gather from the explanation that Cathy gave. This could realistically imply many different things, so we have no idea what to expect right now, but many people are actively looking out for news all the time.
If Cathy does return to the show, is she possibly going to replace Abby Lee Miller? This is a rumor that has been going around for quite a while now, and many fans of the production seem convinced that something along those lines is about to happen if Cathy does return. We don’t know what both of them are thinking behind the scenes, but the implications of this could be interesting.
