When someone abuses the system like Miller did and lies in order to exploit the court, this results in much heavier penalties and Miller now has to face some very real consequences for her actions. We don’t know how her situation will end up like, but we fully expect that she will face serious trouble in the future.
Whether or not this is going to affect the progress of “Dance Moms” in any way is early to tell. The show has been continuing so far, and nobody seems to be acknowledging the issue.
At the same time, it’s not rare for TV shows to get destroyed by some controversy that comes out about them, and we wouldn’t be surprised if something of this sort might happen with “Dance Moms” as well.
It would be sad to see the whole production dragged down for the actions of a single malicious individual, but in the end that’s how the industry works, and sometimes there’s not much that can be done to prevent these incidents from happening. It’s a risk everyone agrees they’re taking when they enter mutual agreements like having to work with partners on a show, and “Dance Moms” in particular has managed to get some fans that are actively following it and would be sad to see the show dying in the controversy.
