Even though “Dance Moms” was surrounded by some controversy lately and the show had its fair share of negative press, filming for the new season is apparently still underway and there are no plans to halt the production anytime soon. Aby Lee Miller was recently entangled in a scandal related to charges of fraud, and it seemed like the situation was very serious – and yet despite that, she keeps on filming the production and doesn’t appear too touched by the situation.
Regardless, the performance of her group has been less than impressive this time around, as they didn’t manage to get a very high place in the rankings and expectations about their success in the future appear to be waning among the community of fans. We don’t know what Miller’s plans are right now, but if she doesn’t manage to pick up the pace and breathe some fresh life into the performance of her crew, we are likely going to see them fading away from the screen very soon.
It wasn’t just about the performance of the team as a whole either though – each individual performance by the team members was less than impressive, and some of the pieces were completely disregarded by fans of the show as they claimed that the whole event could have been done in a much better way.
In the end though, Miller doesn’t seem to be getting dragged down by the negativity too much, and she has been sharing pictures of the event and seems happy with the rest of her team. There have been some minor reports allegedly from behind the scenes claiming that the team is also happy with their current situation and they have been supportive of Miller herself, but we don’t know if that’s true or not. It is clear that there is some strong spirit in that team for the most part though, so it’s good to see people sticking together.
Meanwhile, Miller has been trying to deal with her own issues on the side, and it sounds like she might be in some serious trouble. Not only was she involved in a bankruptcy, but according to reports she also committed a fraud during that time and lied about some income that she had in order to avoid having it taken away by the bankruptcy court.
This isn’t even just about money for her at this point – Miller is facing a very real possibility of serving jail time if she is convicted, and she would have to pay a severe fine for each count of her charges. At this point, the counts are quite a large number too, so it looks like she’s in for a lot of trouble if she doesn’t end up lucky in the court proceedings. But according to some experts, even luck might not be enough for her to get out of her current situation as the odds are stacked quite heavily against her, and she is facing serious trouble.
Some have been pointing out that she could have easily avoided the whole disaster with a little more honesty. The procedure she wanted to undertake with regards to her finances is actually a common ordeal for many people and something that can definitely help someone get their situation back on track when it’s used right, but it requires a person to be honest about what that situation is exactly, and any specific details that might be relevant to the case.
