Abby Lee Miller isn’t exactly the most likeable person from the cast of “Dance Moms”, as the coach has been known for her aggressive attitude and a tendency to take out her anger on people around her. Lately, she has been involved in significant amounts of drama off the stage, as it came to light that she is facing charges for fraud which could actually land her in prison.
Obviously, the situation isn’t very pretty for the TV star, and it probably doesn’t help that the majority of the show’s fans are seemingly actually happy with the idea that Miller might soon depart from the production. She hasn’t had much support on social media ever since her controversy came to light, and there have even been incidents of people being downright nasty towards her because of her situation.
And now, Miller seems to be trying to gain the sympathy of those same crowds by apparently changing her attitude somewhat and acting more sociably on the Internet. This move seems to be backfiring to some extent if one looks at the way people are currently talking about Miller online though, as there is apparently even less sympathy for her now as people are really starting to get tired of her attention-seeking attitude and her attempts to cheat the law and evade the consequences that she should rightly face.
For the most part, Miller has a particularly negative reputation among fans of the show, as she is constantly seen as too pushy, forcing her students to go too far and completely disregarding their emotions and requests. At the same time, she tends to pay little attention to what the parents of those students have to say as well, which has caused even more problems with the way she communicates with her students and how the audience sees her in general.
On the other hand, Miller got in even more controversy recently after fans started blaming her for the personal issues that developed between some members of the cast. It’s not entirely clear just how much Miller actually contributed to that problem, but for many fans her involvement was clear and it was a valid enough reason to want Miller gone from the show for good.
At this point, many people seem convinced that Miller’s involvement in the production is only detrimental to it and it would be of benefit to everyone if she went away. As negative as it sounds, some seem to even think that jail time would work well for her as it would help her get a more modest view of her place in the world, and on the other hand it seems to be the only real way to get her off the screen right now. It’s a delicate situation, and in certain ways it’s disappointing that things got to this state as the show is otherwise quite good and has a lot of potential left in it.
We will find out what happens in a few months for sure, but until then things could easily get even more problematic for “Dance Moms” because of Abby Lee Miller. And of course, it’s also possible that we will keep hearing from her about the current situation on her social media accounts for a long time at this point. We don’t know if she will manage to convince anyone that she has changed, and some fans don’t seem to really care too much right now.
