Custom ROM Android 5.1 Lollipop and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Now Available for Samsung Galaxy S4

However, there has already been an incremental update by Google released this month which it called as Android 5.1.1 Lollipop which brings further bug fixes to problems of the mobile operating system. This means that even with the Android 5.1 Lollipop, users expect to still encounter some more bugs and minute issues.

Google has released the firmware update to its highly-touted but problematic Android 5.0 Lollipop last March in the hope of addressing bugs and issues that have hounded the mobile operating system when it was released in November last year.

Having seen the problems that the Android 5.0 Lollipop brought to the Nexus and Motorola devices which were among the first to have taken on the latest mobile operating system from Google, Samsung decided to go easy on the update on its mobile devices.

So instead of taking on the Android 5.0 Lollipop, Samsung devices updated straight to the Android 5.0.1 beginning in February and subsequently Android 5.0.2 starting in March, thus skipping the bugs and issues that have plagued the Android 5.0 Lollipop.
