As the current season of “Criminal Minds” comes to a month-long pause, speculation about the future of the show has been ramping up and fans are more excited than ever to find out what’s about to happen to some characters. There are currently some interesting rumors about certain characters and if most of them turn out to be true, it would seem like the producers of the show are looking to make some changes to the overall setup.

It’s possible that the date they’re on was just a setup by her to lure Dr. Reid into a conversation he normally would not have.
And after all, it would be entirely in the style of this show to introduce some drama with a murderous undertone painted as a romantic story. This could be an interesting way to advance the story with regards to Dr. Reid as well, as certain plot devices definitely have a better potential to bring out important details about his character. But in the end, a lot of the above is not very clear and it’s possible that the initial previews just portray this story in such a way in order to mislead fans and then have them surprised once the truth is revealed.
Meanwhile, Garcia has been trying to adapt to her situation of being in witness protection, but things aren’t very easy for her and she’s been facing some real trouble in her daily life. The realization about the kind of life she’s been forced to live is visibly starting to creep in, so we are likely going to see some more dramatic plot twists related to her in the near future, possibly even right after the season resumes. A lot is unknown about her situation right now, and this has been one of the more interesting topics for fans of the show on the internet.
