There is still some time left before the show returns – it’s scheduled to resume airing on September 30, and we’re probably going to find out a little more about the structure of the new season as the air date approaches.
Until then, we rely on people involved with the production to talk about the characters, plot and other aspects when they are talking to their fans, as those fans definitely need something to discuss at the moment. The show has a pretty big fan base and they all love to talk about potential new developments.
And if the show gets extended even beyond this season, we might see some even more interesting changes later on, if the producers want to continue the current trend of exploring their characters as deeply as possible.
As we said above, it’s clear that the producers have a good mind to introduce some serious changes to the plot of “Criminal Minds” for season 11, but hopefully the show isn’t going to “jump the shark” and try anything too drastic just to stay in the spotlight. It definitely has the potential to stay on air for a lot longer even without the need for lots of changes, so the producers should approach this carefully and think about what they’re doing.
Wasn’t fond of Kate. Wish Alex or Emily would return. J.J. leaving (again) is going to be a hard thing to accept. She gave the show such a sexy jolt of energy her second go round. I hope she returns soon – the team always feels like something’s missing without her.
