This is a bit of good news for fans of the popular TV series as they will not have a lengthy gap between episodes like some shows have heading into the Holiday break each year.
Meanwhile, the midseason finale episode of “Criminal Minds” showed the BAU tackling a case where the suspect is obsessed with medical experiments.
The killer in the case was utilizing some unique methods and unsettling approaches that were eventually uncovered by the BAU as the victims were examined.
Although a lot of possibilities and motives were initially considered including drug or gang involvement, it eventually becomes clear that the killer has a different agenda.
Episode 10 of “Criminal Minds” actually resembles more an episode of “Bones,” because of the grotesque nature of how the killer was getting rid of his victims over at Florida.
The team eventually discovers that the killer is doing medical experiments on animals like jellyfish, turtles, sea urchin, and scarlet macaw as the creatures apparently have long life spans.
It turns out that the killer is focusing on longevity and not curing a specific disease, contrary to initial assumption. It is also why he refers to the cemetery as a magical place because it is near the legendary fountain of youth.
