Crash Bandicoot Remaster Has a Solid Chance to Make Things Right: Will It Succeed?

Last but not least, some players seem to have the opinion that Activision should just put the franchise to rest and stop messing with it any further. While it’s true that this is always an option, it would be a sad development as it would mean never realizing the potential remaining in the “Crash Bandicoot” brand.

It can succeed equally well on all popular platforms at the moment, and the landscape of the gaming industry has also changed a lot since we last saw a game in that series. With some clever marketing, Activision could easily bring Crash to the spotlight once again.

Meanwhile, Crash has been making various appearances in other games, and it looks like we’ll keep seeing the character here and there in the future as well. However, perhaps to the disappointment of some players, the changes in his appearance are here to stay for now.

They most probably won’t carry over to the remastered version that’s in development at the moment, which would be for the best. It was a controversial move to change Crash’s appearance in the past, and most players would probably be happy if Activision brought his looks back to their roots. Only time will tell what the studio is actually planning though, there might even be a completely new version of Crash behind the scenes that we don’t know about.
