Can we expect to see something similar on the screen in the future? We wouldn’t say it’s unlikely – “Constantine” was a pretty innovative idea as far as TV comes, and even if the new show isn’t based on the same premise, it could still have a lot of potential.
We haven’t heard any rumors about anyone having the intention of running a show with a similar premise, but if someone is indeed considering that idea, now would be the ideal time to go for it.
Fans of “Constantine” that are disappointed with the cancellation of their own show are currently hungry for something to replace it, and if someone were to release a new production that offered a similar concept but with a fresh new look, it would surely be a massive hit as soon as it started.
With a little more promotion, it might even see more success in terms of ratings and viewer numbers than its spiritual predecessor. And that in turn might finally give fans of “Constantine” something to look forward to in the long term, and a show that will stick to the screen for good. As we said above, there is still a lot of potential even in the story of “Constantine”, and various ideas that might be worth exploring from a different perspective.
