Since the producers decided to release the DVD and Blu-Ray version of Season 1 of “Constantine” there are now speculations saying that it is possible that Warner Bros is priming for the production of Season 2 of the TV show.
Matt Ryan, who plays hellblazer John Constantine in the TV series, said that he would be watching again “Constantine” when it came out on DVD and Blu-Ray because he wants to revisit the character.
He admitted that he really enjoyed playing John Constantine since it allowed him to explore the character’s dark story.
Ryan said that he is happy that fans now have the opportunity to experience the TV series on Blue-ray including all the bonus features.
While there is still no official statement from the producers of “Constantine” or any other network for that matter, the rumors are mostly saying that the TV show would eventually be picked up by another network and its second season would be filmed shortly thereafter.
There are also reports saying that Matt Ryan as John Constantine shall be appearing first on “Legends of Tomorrow” on The CW just like he did in last year’s episode of “Arrow” Season 4 before he finally do filming for Season 2 of “Constantine.”
However, all these remain as speculations pending the confirmation of the executive producers of “Constantine” for Season 2 at The CW.
