The show definitely had its interesting moments and it could make sense to bring it back to the screen with some minor revisions. The ratings of the production don’t have to stay so low if the people behind it pay attention to the sources of criticism, and it looks like people wanted to see some more interesting developments in “Constantine” at a faster pace.
The production did move a bit slowly from time to time, so that request could make sense and we can see the producers of “Constantine” reevaluating the pace of their plot developments if they wanted to restore the show’s former glory.
But they would also have to be careful, as changing too much about “Constantine” could also backfire and they might lose their original audience.
Then the show would be in real trouble, as it will not only fail to reach a wide audience but it will also disappoint its core fans, something which will surely spell disaster for it very quickly. With that in mind, we’re not so sure if a revival really is the appropriate option right now if it would mean bringing the show back with some drastic changes that could alienate its core fans. If the producers can manage to preserve everything that made the show good originally, then they should go for it, on the other hand.
