Constantine Season 2 Far From Happening But John Constantine Character Definitely Appearing on a Superhero TV Series on The CW!

He said in his tweet that CW Seed and The CW are not directly connected to each other, alluding that there are still no plans in the works to revive the series.

Without saying it, Cerone is actually one with the fans in keeping their fingers crossed that “Constantine” will eventually get revived soon if not later.

It can be recalled that Cerone is one of the staunch lobbyists of “Constantine” immediately after NBC canceled it last year. He liaised with various networks and streaming service to rescue the show from cancellation and even discussed with NBC to reconsider its decision on “Constantine.” All his efforts went for naught as there were no takers to his offer to rescue the TV series.

The hopes of fans to see “Constantine” on TV again were stoked further when Matt Ryan, who plays the demon hunter John Constantine in the show, guested on episode 5 of Season 4 of “Arrow” which generated the biggest ratings for the TV show during its first half.

But subsequently, “Arrow” showrunner Marc Guggenheim disclosed that the appearance of John Constantine on the TV show was a one and off deal which was agreed upon long before “Constantine” was canceled by NBC.
