Constantine Season 2 Could Still Happen if DC Comics is Up to Further Expanding its TV Universe!

Apart from the fact that the show was actually on the wrong channel, “Constantine” executive producer David Goyer explained that the TV series, although a DC Comics lore, has not been given the right promotions by the network.

Goyer cited the half-hearted acceptance of NBC to the TV series because the network is no longer as dominant as in the past years, which is why “Constantine” only received a token promotion during its 13-episode Season 1 run.

Interestingly, there were also reports saying that “Constantine” Season 2 could be revived by The CW at the end of “Arrow” Season 5, reports the Korea Portal.

Accordingly, the Stephen Amell-starrer TV series shall only be good for five seasons. However, these are mere speculations at this time since “Arrow” seems to be doing quite good, ratings-wise and it looks to continue for a couple more years.

Still everything is up to DC Comics. If the company is determined to expand its universe in the small screen to complement its ongoing efforts in the big screen, then there is a potential for “Constantine” seeing the light of day on TV in the near future.

It could be a renewal for Season 2 or it could be a complete reboot version of “Constantine” altogether. So the ball is now with DC Comics and fans just have to wait and see.
