TBS is also thinking of making a new show which is based on a segment from Conan. The Clueless Gamer segment in O’Brien’s show is popular, and the network is planning on making it a full-fledged show. O’Brien already produces TBS’s People of Earth and Final Space, and he will be happy to associate with a spin-off of The Clueless Gamer.
O’Brien might have been the face of late-night shows, but the format is seeing a lot of tough competition lately, especially with Trevor Noah, Samantha Bee and James Corden coming into the picture. In such a situation, he needs to get up and work on improving his ratings or fear fizzling out.
