‘Conan Exiles’ Developer Temporarily Shuts Down Game’s Multiplayer Servers as Part of its Battle Against Online Lag!

They have since promised to be better about the timing of less critical patches going forward but conceded that with there being over 9000 servers, patch timing will be inconvenient for some players.

“Conan Exiles” is actually an open-world survival game, in the brutal lands of Conan The Barbarian.

The gamer plays as an exile, one of the thousands cast out to fend for themselves in a barbaric wasteland swept by terrible sandstorms and besieged on every side by enemies. The objective is to fight to survive, build, and dominate.

Hungry, thirsty, and alone, the gamer’s very first battle is that against the harsh environment. He needs to grow crops or hunt animals for food. By harvesting resources, he then can build weapons and tools.

He also must build a shelter to survive. By riding across a vast world and explore alone, or band together with other players, they can build entire settlements and strongholds to withstand fierce invasions.

When strong enough, gamers can march forth into battle and wage war against their enemies as they fight to dominate the exiled lands.

They can sacrifice enemy players on the altars of the gods and shift the balance of power their way. “Conan Exiles” unleashes the gamer’s fury in savage, fast-paced combat and execute bloody and bone-crushing attacks that will see heads rolling and limbs flying.
