Last week, Supercell has finally released the much-awaited update to “Clash of Clans” and fans of the mobile strategy game say that it was worth the wait.
The game maker seemed to have changed the strategy of “CoC” for good with a major revamp in its gameplay.
According to iDigital Times, the newest update is not only designed to thwart a “CoC” hack but to even the playing field for all players.
The update called ‘Town Hall 11,’ brings new levels for Witches and Minions. As per Christian Post, new levels are in store for Witches who have reached level 3 and Minions who have reached up to level 8.
It also contains new levels for defensive units such as the Wizard Tower and the ability to donate spells to other clanmates.
Another level added to the ‘Town Hall 11’ update is the level 12 Gold and the Elixir storage which allow players to create five more defense structures.
Another exciting thing waiting for players who get the latest update is the addition of two new sounds to the matching process.
Now, a special sound will play every 10 seconds when “CoC” is searching for multiplayer targets as audio confirmation, and another special sound can be heard when no multiplayer target has been found.
The update also comes with a wider map. The redesigned playing area is now 44 x 44 in diameter and will surely allow space for new structures and new items.
Personal Break online time limits have also been reduced from six hours to three, but the overall Personal Break will extend rather than reset to zero in case of internet connection loss or server maintenance issues.
This new feature had some users going on a rant with others demanding to revert back to the regular 6-hour period with the mandatory 5-minute break.
With the newest expansion, other Town Halls now offer a better target for attackers. Trophy offers have increased for attacking players, but trophy losses decreased for defending players. League Bonuses have also increased depending on destruction percentage.
A challenging aspect of the update is the integration of the expansion of the shield time. With the latest upgrade, players can now access a shield through a certain period of time and by a particular percentage of destruction.
This means that “CoC” players will now be able to attack other players despite having a shield and the advent of the Village Guard will have a longer protection time for their bases until the shield runs out.
Lastly, the biggest news on the update is the introduction of a new hero, Grand Warden.
Grand Warden’s best feature is the Life Aura. It is the ability to give a Health Point to provide any friendly group within his territory.
Aside from this, Grand Warden also comes with the power of the Eternal Tomb, which allows his Life Aura’s units to be immune from any attack at a certain period of time.
While the Eternal Tomb might not be beneficial at first, Supercell notes that it will become very handy when being attacked by the Eagle Artillery, the newest defensive structure.
To get the latest “CoC” update, players are advised to update their “Clash of Clans” app via the iOS App Store for Apple users or through the Google Play store for Android users.
Meanwhile, some Clashers have expressed mixed reactions towards the update which was expected because such things usually come whenever a massive hit game tries to tweak its system.
In response to this, Supercell has released an ‘Everything You Need to Know’ webpage for the game.
The web page lists the specific details about ‘Town Hall 11’ update and aims to allow ardent gamers to understand all the changes that Supercell has done to the hit mobile strategy game.
