More massive changes are also rumored to be coming to the title, including complete revamping of certain gameplay features. It might be a little far-fetched to consider that Supercell are going to completely throw some of their gameplay elements out of the window, but on the other hand it could also make sense if they want to explore its true potential even further.
It’s important for the company to remember where they started though, and what drew players to this game in the first place. There are certain gameplay features that have been particular points of attraction for most players, and they should be expanded on.
If Supercell decide to discard some of those gameplay elements, they should have something better planned to take its place. What’s more important, the new feature should not in any way confuse players or clash with what has already been established.
It might be a difficult step forward for Supercell, but the developer is known for handling their games with a lot of attention to detail and they not only know what their players want, but they also know when it’s appropriate to take risks and how they should address the state of the title if there are complaints about certain features coming from multiple directions in the community.
