Clash of Clans Gets a Double Clan XP Event to Celebrate 2 Years on the Market!

“Clash of Clans” managed to make quite the impression on many gamers shortly after it was launched, and the game quickly rose to the top of the charts. Today, along with “Boom Beach” and “Clash Royale”, it’s earning quite a lot of money for Supercell, and it doesn’t look like the trend is going to die down anytime soon. Part of that is because the developers have been very responsible in keeping the game up to date, and they also listen carefully to fan feedback as guidance for new additions.

Supercell also regularly run various special events for “Clash of Clans”, and just recently they started a Double XP event for Clan Wars. Players who like to help out their clans with regular attacks should get quite a nice reward right now, so those who can afford to constantly rebuild their troops are advised to jump right in.

Other than that, the developer has been regularly fixing issues with the game and adding new content to it, including a brand new unit that appeared about a month ago. Players are still getting used to the changed balance after the introduction of the Bowler, and most have already built certain strategies around the unit and are applying it effectively.

It wouldn’t be surprising if we saw some more creative uses for the Bowler in the future though, as it usually takes some time for fans of “Clash of Clans” to figure out how to properly integrate a new unit into their armies. Things can get particularly messy when a player wants to make more complex combinations with spells and heroes, but that’s part of the fun in this game.

“Clash of Clans” has been on the market for two years now, and the game keeps getting stronger and more popular. Supercell have also been quite active in promoting it lately, and it’s not rare to hear about the game on discussion boards and various websites.

What’s coming next? Only Supercell know for sure, but most players seem to be requesting a few touches to the current balance. There are various things that can be done to make the gameplay more polished in this regard, and many would agree that not all units fit perfectly into their supposed roles – especially after a new one was introduced – but it shouldn’t take much longer for Supercell to bring things to a proper state.

The studio has been very busy lately, as they are currently running a total of four games on the mobile market, with their most recent “Clash Royale” enjoying a lot of popularity. The game became an instant hit shortly after it was launched, and players immediately started exploring interesting strategies and combinations of cards.

“Clash Royale” is largely based on “Clash of Clans”, though with a completely different type of gameplay. Its style is much closer to games like “Hearthstone” and “Magic: The Gathering”, except it uses familiar units from “Clash of Clans”. A lot is still happening on the development front with that title, as Supercell keep shifting the balance in different directions, while players are always eager to give their input and share interesting tactics that they have discovered. The game has also spawned a great online community full of tips for newcomers, and a player interested in learning something new can always watch replays of matches between popular competitive gamers.
