Since the holding of the ClashCon 2015 at Helsinki, Finland on October 24 where the game’s latest updates were officially announced and previewed, gamers have been waiting for it on the world’s most popular freemium mobile MMO (massively multiplayer online) strategy video game “Clash of Clans.”
There were speculations that the updates could be released within November, but it looks like the Finnish developer Supercell has decided to roll it out next month instead to ensure that all the minute details are attended to.
While the new Town Hall 11 appears to be the much-awaited feature of the upcoming updates, gamers should know that one important addition to “Clash of Clan” that shall come with the updates is the addition of a third hero.
Although Supercell has yet to confirm the reports, but speculations are rife that the character is suspected to be a wizard that can help the village. Accordingly, the third hero might be released to add to the protection of the village, details the Christian Post.
The other three new features
There are actually four major features of the upcoming December updates to “Clash of Clans.” As mentioned earlier, the Town Hall 11 is the most widely-anticipated one. Supercell has already previewed the Town Hall 11 infrastructure during the ClashCon 2015.
The Town Hall 11 shall have an open top and all-white surface. However, it shall not be constructed very strong in order to balance out the game.
The two other major features include the Eagle defense and the bigger map. The Eagle defense is an eagle head that will open up and attack troops with fire. It handles area splash damage, attacks both ground and air troops, and it is activated after a specific amount of troops has entered the battle.
According to rumors, the new defense will have an unusual strength that many units will not be prepared for.
The game’s map will also be bigger once the December updates officially roll out. It will increase to 44 x 44 and shall give gamers the opportunity to expand their current bases.
Getting stars and levelling up faster
Meanwhile, Neurogadget has detailed tips and tricks on how gamers should be able to make the most out of their raids to get stars and also to level up faster in “Clash of Clans.”
Gamers should not worry about the gameplay during raids because the main point of the game is to get as many stars as possible. Stars are normally acquired by destroying the Town Hall, destroying half of the village, or destroying the whole village.
However, the destruction should be done as fast as the gamers could because there is a time element involved.
As for levelling up faster and earning XP in “Clash of Clans,” gamers need to donate troops to fellow “CoC” players, destroy Town Halls, upgrade buildings, and clear obstacles from their respective villages.
So those smart players know better to get more stars and XP than directly competing with fellow gamers with regards to their achievements or respective levels in the game.
Early this month, Supercell announced that it would take them a couple more weeks until they can roll out the next update to “Clash of Clans” but they will release additional information about it once they have the right material.
On November 13, Supercell revealed some information about the upcoming updates including changes to Shields and the addition of the new ‘Village Guard’ concept.
Session timers and the Personal Breaks will also be changed as well as the Multiplayer Matchmaking, League Bonuses, and the High-Level Trophy calculations.
Supercell said that they are taking the time to unravel the updates because they want to make sure that the upcoming changes are well-tested and well-balanced as much as possible.
As a sort of concession to the anxiously waiting gamers of “CoC,” Supercell is going to kick-off a two-week sneak peek schedule starting this week to get every gamer on the conversation.
