Battlefield 4 was released last year and is a first person shooter video game that was put together by EA digital Illusions CE and later published by Electronic Arts. The fourth game in the popular video game series was released as a sequel to the third game that arrived back in 2011. By the beginning of November of 2013, the game was released for Windows, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The game has positive reviews online mainly for it multi-player modes, gameplay and extremely lifelike graphics.

If you are playing the popular game on the Community Test Environment, you might have noticed a couple of changes to the military style game this holiday season. According to online sources and a few videos posted on YouTube, users in the CTE will not have access to a new snowman, Santa Claus and reindeer masks.
Within the game, other items and landscape items have been modified to match a Christmas-theme. Those things include ammo boxes and C4 which appear to be wrapped as presents that you would put under the tree. The developer typically use the CTE to test out new things for Battlefield Premium members before sending them out to the masses that are playing on consoles and PC’s worldwide. At this time, it is not clear if the new look and items are going to appear on console or PC versions of the game.
Battlefield 4 was recently in the news because the developers at DICE release the “Final Stand” downloadable content pack for the game. According to at least one source, the downloadable content pack might not be the last piece of added to the game, even though the name sort of suggests it. The company announced the content pack and shortly after announced that it hopes gamers will enjoy the pack for the game on the long term. They also assured the players that this would not be the last bit of content for Battlefield 4.
