‘Chicago PD’ Season 4 to Feature a New Partner for Kim Burgess Who Would Bring Wind into the Sails of the Show, Says Showrunner!

Olmstead disclosed that the most important question for Hank Voight in the upcoming Season 4 of “Chicago PD” is how he will be able to regain control of himself and not allow his emotions to get the better part of him because that’s when he becomes dangerous, not only to the criminals but also to his team.

The showrunner also revealed that Season 4 shall also focus on the relationship of Detective Erin Lindsay, played by Sophia Bush, and Detective Jay Halstead, played by Jesse Lee Soffer.

Lindsay and Halstead have just decided to start living together and are now going to take baby steps to build their new life together as possible life-long partners.

With the departure of Roman and Burgess being left alone in the force, the light romantic moment can be provided by Lindsay and Halstead for Season 4 of “Chicago PD.”

Jay and Erin are also planning to buy a property together and formalize their living arrangement. But each one of them has to make the adjustment and share every little space of their respective personal life with the other.

Fans of “Chicago PD” believe that the realization of ‘Linstead’ was the best thing that happened in Season 3 of the TV series because it can be recalled that before the start of the third season, the two were just starting to mend the pieces of their broken relationship. Their getting back together again was like the showrunner giving in to fan requests to make ‘Linstead’ finally happen.

  1. I love this show and it’s edginess, voight is truly an ol school throwback cop who lives on the edge, although i hate to see roman leave,I hope that Burgess next partner will not be another love interest, they should incorporate more for jon ceda and laroyce hawkins.
