Platt was reported to be thrust into the limelight in one episode of Season 4 of “Chicago PD.” The producers have not revealed which episode it is going to happen but it would be early in Season 4 of “Chicago PD.”
She had her wedding last season and she will reportedly have a major story arc in Season 4 of “Chicago PD.” According to initial information, the episode will see Platt taking the spotlight when someone jumps and attacks her. She would eventually be beaten and left only with an inch of her life.
This was confirmed by Matt Olmstead, who also said that it would be a real tour de force episode for Amy Morton.
The reports are also saying that it would be very difficult for Platt to find the people responsible for her beating and bring them to justice amid the fact that she is surrounded by people who are good at bringing criminals to justice.
Meanwhile, Kim Burgess, played by Marina Squerciati, would have a new partner in Julie Tay, and unlike before where she had a romantic relationship with her partner, her new romance would be courtesy of Antonio Dawson from the spin-off TV series “Chicago Fire.”
