In addition to Lindsay and Voight, the other person who knows of what Voight did is Jay Halstead, played by Jesse Lee Soffer, because Erin shared it with him.
Halstead said that he does not know what to do to help out his girlfriend in the situation, citing that he feels a little handcuffed about it.
But he told him not to let Voight drag her down with him. But from out of the blue, Halstead then asked Lindsay to move in with him justifying it by saying that jobs and bosses come and go but he does not want her to come and go. It was a statement and an offer that was really hard to say no to.
Since there was no dead body that was found in the alleged crime, it was really hard for the investigation to progress.
When Voight got cleared up, he went to thank Lindsay in his own way and cried by saying that she has all that is left to him. Although Lindsay embraced him, it was actually her effort to return her favor to him for once saving her life when she was still a teen.
Now that the debt is already paid, things will be different for the pseudo-father and daughter duo of Chicago PD.
