Also in the same episode, Kim Burgess, played by Marina Squerciati, and Sorensen, played by Kevin Kane, accidentally captured a video of a bizarre exchange with a man that they pull over on the road.
During the sixth episode of “Chicago P.D.” that aired on NBC on November 2 entitled “Skin in the Game,” Detective Alvin Olinsky, played by Elias Koteas, staked his badge to help out a friend who was being accused of murder.
After receiving complaints from a frustrated neighbor, Kim Burgess and Sorensen check out the house of Jake McCoy, played by Billy Burke.
Jake is a famous baseball player who is also a friend of Detective Olinsky. When Burgess and Sorensen checked out his house, they discovered the body of a 16-year-old girl named Maya Collins, played by Violett Beane. That instantaneously turned Jake a suspect.
However, Detective Olinsky does not believe that his friend can murder a teenage girl. But the Intelligence Unit saw the intrusion of Olinsky as a conflict of interest.
But Olinsky willingly staked his badge and honor just to prove that Jake is innocent. Apparently, Jake told the police officers that he was just helping Maya and some other girls escape the sex trade.
Olinsky told Jake that he can help him just like the time he did before with a DUI charge.
