A franchise success

All of NBC’s “Chicago” – related franchise series are very successful and “Chicago P.D.” is not an exception. Since the TV series premiered in 2014, it has enjoyed a warm reception and critical acclaim.

The last episode before the break focused on the Chicago PD dealing with an expert sniper, the departure of Antonio Dawson, played by Jon Seda, and Bunny’s father coming to town and looking to meet Lindsay Erin, played by Sophia Bush.

Episode 8, entitled “A Shot Heard Round the World” featured a highly trained killer whose targets were the members of the Chicago Police Department.

Sergeant Hank Voight, played by Jason Beghe, also worked to keep the case contained as they dealt with the state’s ever-present war against the police.

Meanwhile, Lindsay Erin also confronted Antonio about his new position during the episode. Actor Jon Seda is only contracted to appear in eight episodes of “Chicago P.D.” Season 4 which means that the fall finale episode marked his official send-off as he moves towards “Chicago Justice.”

Dealing with an extremely young suspect

Episode 7, entitled “300,000 likes” saw Hank Voight calling the team to investigate the homicide involving the only witness to a suspected serial rapist.
