Chicago Med Season 2 Midseason Finale Shows Will Moving In With Nina, NBC Releases Trailer For Next Episode, Gehlfuss Teases Fans About Will-Natalie Angle!

Chicago Med Season 2 aired the midseason finale, and it was intense! The episode saw Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) and Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) take a difficult decision for their patient. They had a patient with a kidney failure, and the only way to keep him alive was to give him the kidney of his infected brother.

While the kidney was a perfect match and would give the patient a new lease of life, the HIV germs would enter his body as well.

This decision wasn’t the only problem that Halstead and Manning had to cope with. Halstead reveals in Chicago Med Season 2 midseason finale that he would be moving in with his girlfriend, Nina Shore (Patti Murin).

This news makes it evident that he has moved on from Manning. Nick Gehlfuss, who plays the role of Dr. Will Halstead on Chicago Med Season 2 opened up about his character. According to International Business Times, Gehlfuss revealed that Will is indeed happy with Nina.

Nina is a chirpy and quirky person, who brings a spark to his life. Will ends up spending most of his time in the hospital amidst death, and she is like a ray of the sunshine for him. Will had opened up to Manning about his feelings, but the two never started dating.

Manning had lost her husband and the time wasn’t right for them to start seeing each other. They decided to wait, but then Will ended up meeting Nina, and he moved on. Natalie has also met someone and is moving on in her life.

The fans, however, aren’t happy with this development in Chicago Med Season 2. The fans were disappointed when Will and Natalie weren’t paired together. They wanted them to end up with each other, and that never happened.

International business Times reported that the Will and Natalie chapter might not be over yet. Gehlfuss revealed the scoop himself. He said that emotions and feelings aren’t like a switch that you can turn on and off. It’s hard to compartmentalize feelings and keep them apart.

Natalie and Will are always working together, and the proximity is sure to heat things up and force them to deal with their feelings for each other. Gehlfuss got the fans excited when he revealed that Will and Natalie would continue to harbor feelings for each other and the emotions wouldn’t go away so quickly.

The fans will have to continue watching Chicago Med Season 2 to see what’s in store for them.

On the other hand, Chicago Med Season 2 saw Dr. Latham (Ato Assandoh) and Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell) in another medical dilemma. They are set to operate a 16-year old girl who is suffering from a genetic heart condition. While the young patient requires an immediate operation, her mother refuses to give consent for it.

Chicago Med Season 2

The midseason finale of Chicago Med Season 2 ended with music, which was played by Nick Gehlfuss. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nick Gehlfuss was asked to play the music for the ending sequence.

He was honored to have the opportunity. Gehlfuss never went to the recording studio, he played it live on the set and was mixed in. Although it was a first time for the character of Will Halstead, the performance reminded Gehlfuss of the time he would perform with his guitar in New York City.
