Bethesda Softworks is apparently preparing to showcase most of the aces hidden on its sleeves in the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015 to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 16 to 18; or before the conference to be more specific.
The game publishing company has sent out press invites to the members of the media for a pre-conference event to be held on June 14 where it intends to drop all its planned offerings in the international gaming community.
While nothing specific has been indicated on it, the press invite itself already hints of at least several different video games that Bethesda may be formally launching or introducing at the pre-conference event through various popular characters imprinted on it.
The various video game characters on the Bethesda press invite include BJ Blascowicz from the “Wolfenstein” series, Sebastian from “The Evil Within” franchise, a number of characters from “The Elder Scrolls” video game titles, and the Tall Boy from “Dishonored,” notes Christian Today.
Many in the gaming community deduce that the characters in the press invite could likely mean that Bethesda is planning to let loose the details and possibly gameplay trailers on its upcoming games including “Wolfenstein: The Old Blood,” “The Evil Within Chapter 2: Remnants,” “Elder Scrolls 6,” and “Dishonored 2.”
Distinct art style
The upcoming stealth action-adventure video game “Dishonored 2” is expected to be officially released later this year on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
“Dishonored” was released in the PC, the PlayStation 3, and the Xbox 360 in October 2012 and the sequel is likely to come out on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One after three years. So the possibility of an October release date of the video game to the market is also high but that is just speculation as of this time.
One of the major attributes of “Dishonored” is its distinct art style and it is likely that developer Arkane Studios will keep it with “Dishonored 2” to reinforce familiarity and game feel among gamers.
“Dishonored 2” follows the events within the city of Dunwall, where the main character Corvo Attano serves as a personal bodyguard to the city’s empress. He was eventually set to take the fall for the murder of the empress.
