But in the end, we don’t even know if it’s actually about to get cancelled or not. It could turn out that we’re going to get a report of a new season being ordered in just a few weeks, and if things turn out well, the producers might even start to regain their fans’ trust by introducing new interesting plot lines.
The show definitely has a lot of potential left in it, it just has to be realized through some more interesting ideas and outside the box thinking from both the writers as well as the producers.
We don’t know what they’re planning for the rest of the episodes in season 8, but hopefully we’re going to see a major plot twist soon that will really shake things up, because this is exactly what fans of the show want to see right now in order to show some more interest in it once again.
It’s entirely possible that the writers are planning a major surprise for their fans at some point soon, and it would be interesting if we saw some developments with huge implications for the plot, the kinds of implications that leave no doubt about the possibility of seeing the show continue, because there’s no way that the writers wouldn’t want to expand on such a development after introducing it once.
I’m sorry but this article just doesn’t cut it for me. The show was rim wrecked when they (the show runners and writers I refuse to say that they are not to blame for the current state of the show) separated Caskett. Since episode 2 all we have had has been lack luster episodes that are ignoring the critical parts of the plot – getting Caskett back together and catching Bracken’s partner. This is what is causing the lack of viewers and is the direct fault of the show runners – no one else. I would not give the show runners another job as show runners unless they can pull the show out of the morass it is currently in and do it soon.
I absolutely agree! The writers need to return to what made the show great – the Castle/Beckett team solving crimes together not Beckett hiding out. Bring them back together and you will see the viewers return. Their relationship makes the show
