For right now, apps like Cartoon HD are struggling to get back into app stores on the web. That can be contributed to the fact that they are offering something that fans want and companies do not want fans to have. There is revenue to be made by the television companies and when you give the content away for free, those revenues start to dwindle.
It is time for the cable companies to come around to their senses and make the plunge to allow users access to what they want. At some point, there will be more users streaming content than watching it through their cable box. When that time comes, the cable companies are going to be wondering why what options they have.
One of those options would be to get on board with what the consumers want. Apps like Cartoon HD are a perfect example of something that is easy to use, is free to use and give a user what they want and that is it.
