One of the most popular apps on the iOS platform is Cartoon HD. With this app, the users can watch their favourite shows and movies for free. All the users had to do was install the app from the App Store and stream films and cartoons for free. Apple, however, did not favour the app much and removed it from their App Store.
Cartoon HD was ticked off because the application allowed users to stream and view videos from any part of the world. This was a violation of copyright laws, and Apple didn’t approve of it. Quite a few companies made a huge issue about this and Apple moved it from iOS 8.0. Cartoon HD did not let this go easy and found a way to stage a comeback.
Cartoon HD partnered with FliXanity to get them back on the track. However, this partnership didn’t pan out as it should have. FliXanity is a similar video streaming app and with Cartoon HD off the market, they were enjoying the full cake. GappCenter, the company that launched Cartoon HD, was in conversation to collaborate with FliXanity.
There was a huge uproar among the fans of Cartoon HD when they found that FliXanity was down, and the website couldn’t be accessed. There were news of the website collaborating with Cartoon HD, and they were sure that it has finally happened.
Yes, the speculations were correct! Cartoon HD has been re-launched, however, not as an app. It is a website. This means that Cartoon HD can now be used by all, irrespective of whether they are an Apple or an Android user. Cartoon HD is available on all browsers.
The users have to visit the website and create an account to stream videos, films and TV series of their choice, for free. Unlike the Cartoon HD app, which would often go down, the website runs smoothly, at least it’s been doing so until now. The website allows you to stream your favourite shows and films on any device of your choice.
Unlike the mobile app where all television series and movies would work, the Cartoon HD website might not allow such functionality. Why is this so? GappCenter has said that unlike the app, this time Cartoon HD doesn’t host the contents. They merely provide links to other websites that do. The users can access those contents via Cartoon HD’s website. Some of the links provided may not run on mobile devices, but Cartoon HD provides multiple links to one series or film and hence it wouldn’t be that difficult to access.
