While developers of the freeware app Cartoon HD is already thinking of a fallback option in the event that it continues to lose a significant number of its users, it seems that they are also finding ways to improvise with the end in view of bringing back its users or entice new ones.
They will be unveiling one of their latest strategies later this week which the developers already announced on its Twitter account on June 6.
Apparently, they will be releasing a surprise version of the CartoonHD.TV domain, and they are looking to test it in the process. The tweet also came with a marketing pitch saying that if its 12.2K followers on Twitter will retweet its post, they may potentially be selected as testers of free movies and TV shows.
Also on the same day, the developers of Cartoon HD also tweeted that the freeware app is almost fully back to normal, ending the post again by asking its Twittter followers to retweet if they have been patronizing CartoonHD.TV.
Fallback option
Just a few days ago, the developers of Cartoon HD were already considering the closure of all its services and joining FliXanity which is apparently working to build its online streaming services in the US.
FliXanity has one of the largest databases of TV shows and movies available for streaming online. It is one of the most popular online sites apart from the fact that users can also stream movies and TV shows on smartphones and tablets or mobile devices too.
The team behind Cartoon HD made the announcement on its Twitter account on June 4 although at this point in time, it appears to be a future option only.
It also appears that the tweet is a marketing ploy of sort to further build user interest on CartoonHD.TV as it also came with an ultimatum to its 12.2K followers to retweet the post if they still want CartoonHD.TV to stay open.
Assuming however that Cartoon HD would eventually join FliXanity, it would really be a good move as a last resort especially if it continues to experience significant drop in the number of its users after being removed from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store last year.
Working hard to keep the new domain open
It would also seem absurd for Cartoon HD to simply give up everything when it just launched a new domain in April where users can now watch free movies and TV show on any device.
The developers behind the freeware app have been strongly promoting its new realm on social media. It has, in fact, been pushing to make CartoonHD.TV to become a trending topic on Twitter, espousing its continued retweet so that the freeware app gains the opportunity to finally get back to the app stores the way it used to be.
In addition to its Twitter page, Cartoon HD is also using its Facebook page to inform its users of the latest updates to the app or the latest free movie and TV show offerings that it features.
