‘Captain America: Civil War’ to Feature Two Kinds of Suit for Spider-Man!

The Marvel Studios boss said that the upcoming film is very much a sequel to “The Winter Soldier” and is very much, in a certain way, a completion of the Captain America trilogy.

Feige also disclosed that “Captain America: Civil War” is actually the start of phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and that a lot of casting announcements would be announced very soon by the studio.

He disclosed that there will be a slew of casting announcements before the next few months and that it would focus on “Thor 3: Ragnarok” and “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” as well as other future Marvel films.

“Captain America: Civil War” is based on the comic book story arc which will begin with Steve Rogers leading a new team of Avengers to protect the world. However, after another international incident involving the Avengers, several governments decided to implement the Superhero Registration Act.

Chris Evans, who plays Steve Rogers and Captain America, says that Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr., is in favor of the new restriction and wants the Avengers to submit to the governments. But the star-spangled superhero is firmly against it because his experience in dealing with the government in the past left a bad taste in his mouth. And that is where the conflict among the Avengers will begin.

  1. Captain America: Civil War is definitely NOT Avengers 2.5. It’s clearly a Captain America movie. The whole Avengers 2.5 joke is getting really annoying. Why the hell does Tony Stark have to make Spider-Man’s second suit? The MCU kind of revolves around Iron Man too much. Peter Parker needs to make his own nonhome-made Spider-Man costume, just like he’s supposed to.

    1. Tony Stark builds Spidey a new suit in the civil war comic, the one with 3 mechanical arms. At least this way, when Spidey joins Cap’s team later on it might actually balance them out a bit considering Tony’s team has him, Warmachine, Vision AND Black Panther!
Besides I honestly don’t think Robert Downey Jr will be doing many more marvel films, I believe his contract has ended and they’re just paying him absolutely extortionate amounts to keep him on and to make the most of iron man before he bites the dust during phase 3 which is highly speculated.

  2. I sure can’t wait to see Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War! This movie is going to be epic! I really hope Tom Holland’s Spider-Man costume looks cool.
