After they showed that preview for the film, we certainly wouldn’t expect them to say much else about it for a while, especially about the role of Spider-Man. The character’s involvement in the overall storyline has been a major driving point in the discussions within the community, and the producers of the film of course realize that.
There has been an obviously strong marketing push behind this production and the people involved in it seem to have put a lot of effort into making sure that people are not only aware of “Captain America: Civil War”, but they are also actively talking about it.
The way the whole promotion of the film is structured is quite the clear indication that the producers are well aware of its popularity with the crowds, and they know how to push the right buttons when revealing new information about it.
We don’t know when they are going to reveal anything else about the film before its release date in May 2016, but we wouldn’t be surprised if there was another trailer planned to come out in a couple of months or so. March or April would probably be ideal for some additional marketing, especially if the producers want to give an extra sneak peek into the main story of the film.
