While there have been previous reports as to how the Avengers will divide themselves over the issue of Superhero Registration Act, the delineation of the alliance has never been made clear on the picture and the promo art did just that.
On the left side of the promo art is Team Captain America featuring Captain America, played by Chris Evans, Ant-Man, played by Paul Rudd, the Winter Soldier, played by Sebastian Stan, Hawkeye, played by Jeremy Renner, the Falcon, played by Anthony Mackie, and Agent 13, played by Emily VanCamp.
The new addition is Agent 13, who has never been in previous teasers.
On the right side of the promo art is Team Iron Man featuring Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr., the Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johannson, the Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman, War Machine, played by Don Cheadle, and the Vision, played by Paul Bettany.
Interestingly, Spider-Man, which is rumored to be part of Team Captain America and Scarlet Witch, which is rumored to be part of Team Iron Man, are not in the promo art.
With the release of the new promo art for “Captain America: Civil War,” merchandise items have also started hitting shelves, which is a good promotional boost for the film, months before its May 6 playdate.
