‘Captain America: Civil War’ First Trailer May Debut Attached to an Episode of Season 3 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

The Marvel Studios boss said that the upcoming film is very much a sequel to “The Winter Soldier” and is very much, in a certain way, a completion of the Captain America trilogy.

Feige also disclosed that “Captain America: Civil War” is actually the start of phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and that a lot of casting announcements would be announced very soon by the studio.

He disclosed that there will be a slew of casting announcements in the next few months and that it would focus on “Thor 3: Ragnarok” and “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” as well as other future Marvel films.

“Captain America: Civil War” is based on the comic book story arc which will begin with Steve Rogers leading a new team of Avengers to protect the world. However, after another international incident involving the Avengers, several governments decided to implement the Superhero Registration Act.

Chris Evans, who plays Steve Rogers and Captain America, says that Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr., is in favor of the new restriction and wants the Avengers to submit to the governments. But the star-spangled superhero is firmly against it because his experience in dealing with the government in the past left a bad taste in his mouth. And that is where the conflict among the Avengers will begin.
